This is going to be great! Pataphysics is an Austin super group of some sorts blending the best qualities and members of some of my favorite Austin bands over the years (Oblong Boys, Zom Zoms, The Old Timerz, Cavedweller, The Telephone Company) They are coming up on the 21st to play with us at Rubber Gloves and Schwa will be spinning records before after and in between bands

I'm gonna need to seen an I.D.

My 11 month old niece Hannah went to the community pool today and they made her get an I.D!



The best part is that it doesn't even say her name, it just says "CHILD."

Apparently, the Heritage pool in Keller, TX has had some trouble with baby sized adults sneaking into the children's area and enjoying the water slide; which of course, is totally understandable. The biggest problem I see comes when she tries to go swimming in a few years from now.

"excuse me miss, this doesn't look much like you, are you sure you're a child?"
"oh, that was taken before I could walk or talk"
"I'm gonna need to verify this with head of pool security."

holy moly it's been sometime since my last blog post. I just got back from seeing Observer and Report and my mind is racing with hilarious brutal violence. Alright lets see, announcements.

I started a new blog of cute things being radical. Of course its called CUTEDICAL and its over at CUTEDICAL.COM Hit me up with submissions if you have any.

We've been working hard on the elaborate packaging for the next record. This thing is going to be extremely thought out and beautiful and done it a couple limited runs. We have officially shorted the album title to NOM and will have a site where you can hear the whole thing soon.

Other than that, we hope to go on the road a little bit this summer. city/venue/bands to play with suggestions are always welcome.
