Asthmatic Kitty comp and CMJ

Also, (boy I really have been slacking on this blog) We have submitted a song to the online K Records tribute compilation on the Asthmatic Kitty website. We cover Gene Defcon's "Laying Down with My Headphones On" from his extremely underrated, Come Party With Me 2000 K release which was originally on the Business Deal release Lovers ESP Blues. Along side our track are two great covers from Danielson and Half Handed Cloud and a bunch more great bands.

Also we are playing the HHBTM showcase at CMJ next month on October 17 at The Tank.
We go on first but the rest of the show is great with acts such as, Casper and the Cookies, M Coast, Velcro Stars, Keith John Adams and The Smittens. Hope to see all you new york folks come out!

Speaking of popfest and the last tour, everything went really really well. We were very surprised to see some fans show up in cities we'd never been to. Popfest was great as usual Liz from Three Imaginary Girls gave us a swell review and the folks in Tullycraft voted us RUNNERUP for the best band of the fest! thanks dudes!
