Classic Comic Weekend!-Hercules
I drew this probably around 2002 after finding a book at my parents house about Hercules and he was making this pose on the cover. I thought this was hilarious at the time, but I don't know if it holds up by today's standards.

Classic Comic Weekend!-Jump Rope Edition
Around 2004-2005 some friends of mine along with our then current drummer formed a free style jump roping team that would set up at shows and events and get people to jump. This was the first official advertised event of the team and it was a huge success. We played along with Denton powerhouse Record Hop, the Business Deal super group The Old-Timerz and Catalina.

classic comic weekend!
Well this is a little late, I kind of got distracted with last nights rock show (which was a lot of fun by the way) I uploaded every past show poster I could find here which has a couple of previously un-posted comic posters including this one:
This was the tour poster for our first tour in 2005 with Red Pony Clock over to Athens and up through the East Coast but I don't think I ever saw it actually posted in any club. There are a couple of really good stories from that tour that I should turn into comics someday, truly one of the most bizarre trips I have been on.

ironman response/show reminder
Just a reminder that the full band (all four!) are playing Hailey's this Saturday as part of a Gutterth show with Delmore Pilcrow, Boxcar Bandits, and the Angelus. Definitely a varied by strong line up. I'm going to try and print a couple of these posters to sell for cheap:

classic comic weekend!
This was created, February 16 2005 a couple days after Fishboy played the Spinning Wheels Roller Rink in Denton to disastrous results. Who would have thought having tons of cables on an active roller rink might cause people to trip over them? Who would have thought blasting loud music in a giant wooden and concrete room wouldn't sound good? NOT ME! A few months ago our drummer Tommy and wife Valerie had their wedding reception in the same roller rink that had been turned into reception hall where this scene took place. The comic above was probably inspired by trading your shoes for skates and misplacing them.
