I really liked hearing this story from Erik but I'm almost sure I messed up some of the details because of how late at night it was.

HAH HAH I am dying of laughter from this one. That is nothing new for Fishboy comics, though. I love it. The bar was called the "Side DOOR," though. Just for the record!
Man this thing has really made the STL rounds! I was chatting with someone tonight and she was like I SAW THAT THE OTHER DAY! It's funny, I sent it to a feller that used to be in a band with Eric, and the next day I saw Matt from Bunnygrunt, who was like "did you see that Fishboy about Eric Von Damage?" and I said "yes, I sent it to Ben and so-and-so, et cetera" and Matt said "Oh, that's who showed it to me!" Hah hah...I am glad I insisted on Eric tellin' that story, and that this comic resulted. Kudos!

Man I never read this last comment you made 'til now, when I followed the link from your new post about next week's show. Dang! That is TIGHT though, "Bogusflow," what a DEEP song, ya know? I didn't even put together that the title was (ostensibly) a play on "Evenflow" I don't think. I have a YouTube video of Mustardfish performing "Bogusflow" that has received all of these comments like "DO YOU KNOW WHERE TO FIND THE ORIGINAL BECK VERSION ONLINE, IT IS NOT IN YOUTUBE VIDEOS ANYWHERE?" and I just have to think, sucker! Why would I be looking for that song online when I'm the proud owner of DGC Rarities, Volume 1?
You would think someone would have uploaded it by now. It's an interesting song, the lyrics are so deep and open to interpretation yet the delivery makes you think he's making them up on the spot...which he might be. Sonic Youth definitely is on their song for that comp. I didn't get the pearl jam thing till way later either.
