Comic!-Capturing Why? Part 1

As some of you may or may not know, my day job outside of music/comics/embroiderizing super customized album portraits is working as a freelance video editor and cameraman. Two weeks ago my worlds collided as I got a call to shoot the band Why? as they recorded their new album in Argyle. Fishboy has opened for the band twice in the past so I am very excited to be capturing moments on video and now comic format.

I haven't had a lot of time to draw everything that has already happened but I've been saving up stories and will be posting them here. Stay Tuned!

Creep of the Day!

Today's Creep of the Day is the amazing Arnaud! A stand up great dude from the fine country of Belgium and President of Fishstick Records!


I'm finishing up the rest of the covers soon and will be posting some more Creeps as they come!

The Dentoneer suggests that the dance in the video is a new style called 'Fishboy' although I prefer 'The Fishboy' because it sounds more like 'The Freddy' .  Which gave me the idea for this challenge:

To the first person to recreate this dance in a youtube video, I will gladly mail a vinyl copy of Classic Creeps and your choice of t-shirt. To anyone else after that, I'll give you a digital copy and thank you drawing in your choice of digital format (even PNG!)

I'm finally making my way through all of these Harry Potter books to try and get caught up before the last movie. I know we have several fans in the wizard rock community (thanks to Harry and the Potters spreading the word over the years) so I might draw or write my take on everything when I'm done. maybe.

comic!-CLASSIC CREEPS!

ok! the day is officially here, Classic Creeps should be in stores and everyone tomorrow! Its been a real joy and pleasure writing, arranging, recording, drawing, embroidering, planning, plotting and promoting this whole project over the past eighteen months. For the rest of the year we'll try as hard as we can to perform this album in your town or as close to your town as possible. If you want to help set up a show somewhere please feel free to contact us at the email over on the right.

Also! there has been a slight delay in the embroidery portrait production assembly as my dear sister has gone out of town for a bit. If you ordered a deluxe package and havent gotten it yet, please bare with me and this delay.

some other news for today, we've gotten some great reviews for Classic Creeps on Beat the Indie Drum and the 405. Very Cool!
