Tuesday Comic!-at Recycled Books.
That post about Little D reminded me of this last week. Recycled Books is a wonderful store that has been selling my music for a long time. I'm very happy to see that they added an odd toys section.
Little D is in the store!
For those of you who have been looking for it, I put the remaining copies of Little D up in the Yo Fishboy Store. The album was self released (we paid for it ourselves) on Business Deal (they helped tell people about it) back in 2005. If you have yet to hear the album I recommend getting a copy some way or another. While the band has certainly come a long way since then, the final product is a sugar coated/bizarre/hyper/laid back/experimental pop record that certainly holds a place in my heart. There are around 100 or so left of the current run and once they are gone it will probably be a while before we press some more.

Whoes the Double Rainbow Boss? Show Tonight!
I was looking around on youtube this morning and found non other than Tony Danza's video diary account: The Daily Danza. At first I was surprised to see that he had been posting videos for almost a full year and yet the most views on any of them totaled to around 200. Then I came upon this magical gem. In 2009 almost a year before double-rainbow hysteria swept it's way across the internet, Tony Danza found his own magical double rainbow. Look how happy he is!
Speaking of double rainbows, TONIGHT two separate bands/groups of friends who live in different states across the country are going to intersect in Denton Texas to play an awesome free show at the Hydrant tonight with myself and New Science Projects (who is perhaps my favorite Denton performer) Iji, a former Phoenix now Seattle pop band we toured with around this time last summer and Amo Joy the Indiana band that meshes together all of my favorite 60's psych pop traits into one great package. It's free so if you live in Denton please stop by. Here's that flier again:

Classic Comic Weekend!-Funky Butt
I haven't done classic comic weekend for a while, for those unfamiliar with the concept, I dig through my old comics, most that were on the fishboy site years ago, and post them up for fun. I think this one was a reference to the movie Rookie of the Year.

We hung out with two friends who we might not see again for a while, Stephen has some really good stories about our days in high school that could be future comics...unfortunately I forgot them all.

Comic from Wednesday!-Ratz' Deli
Devin told us this story in Kansas City. I hadn't gotten around to drawing it until today. What a good one!
ok, that's three comics in one day. I'm almost caught up...
Comic from Tuesday!-Weird Burns Part 2
Within minutes of posting the last comic a slew of questions came in about why I don't draw myself with a beard and what it would look like. I don't really like the way the cartoon version of myself looks with a beard and I think a the beardless drawing is closer to my actual face than the beardy one. After I drew the comic above Carleen said "why did you draw yourself so chubby?" I didn't! It's the same circle I always draw!

Comic From Saturday/Post Tour Update: Day 4!

Today, we made sure to get to Ball Hall in time. It was a wonderful and huge flat venue with some amazing people. We found out our friends Dust Congress and Shiny Around the Edges are playing there at the end of this week and made sure to spread the word to the locals. Our friends Josh and Amber would show us some sites over the next two days including the famous butt-sniffing ying yang of Chicago.
Comic from Friday/post tour update: day 3!
Yes, sadly we dropped the ball on Cincinnati. Sorry for anyone who may have come to the show expecting me to play. The main reason we were so late getting on the road was because we spent to long in the amazing and massive city museum in St. Louis which is pretty much four stories of every child's dream playground/tree house made of junk! I could go on forever describing it, but here are a few pictures instead:

more comics and tour pictures are coming soon!
